For two weeks, four&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">researchers did fieldwork to elicit the visual&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">archives of Pesanggaran from 1942-1945. Most&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">of the archives used are sketches of Ir. John.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">A.G. Warmer (1910-1986), an architect-teacher&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">who had been interned at the Kesilir internment&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">camp and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">detailed&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">report written by J.G. Wackwitz<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">. They recorded the&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">living conditions around the camp and<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">&nbsp;building forms that existed at that time.<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Through the meeting <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">between the colonial archives and the memories&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">of the villagers, the narrative of social and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">spatial history in Pesanggaran was recomposed and re-situated<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">.
