Although the main ideas of heritage&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">conservation has been emerged since the late&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">19th century and marked by establishment of&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Monumenten Ordonantie in early 20th century,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">the perception towards heritage never stayed&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">the same. Each era and authority has its own&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">view on what deserves to be remembered and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">forgotten, what has to be preserved and&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">what should be abandoned. In larger context,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">these views influence and shapes the Indonesian&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">society\u2019s perception of cultural heritage.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">To present the long winded history of&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">conservation story, this exhibition takes jamu as&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">metaphor.
