Since 1927, the occupants&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">of the building have been changing, starting&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">from the British Consulate General, Admiral&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Tadashi Maeda, the British Ambassador,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">the National Library, and finally becoming&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">the Museum for the Formulation of the&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Proclamation Manuscript. The imagination&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">about building thus become&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">plural, always changing according to the dynamics&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">faced by its occupants. Although some spaces&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">are labelled as one entity by the museum, it can not be denied&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">that the shadow of uncertain historical witness remains haunting&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">the arrangement of the&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">spaces and objects inside.<\/span><br><\/p><p><font color=\"#000000\"><br>We activated different version of memories by eliciting the archive&nbsp;<\/font><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">collections of the Proclamation Manuscript&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">Museum and sewing the narrative through&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">field researches to other historical places of the&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">proclamation, such as Rengasdengklok, Gedung Pola and Menteng area. The findings<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">&nbsp;then be critically re-examined and re-imagined <\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">through exhibitions &amp; public programs&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0);\">that involve wider audiences, from kids, high-school students, to adults.
